I still remember it was a very horrible day. When I woke up, my mum came to my room and told me a piece of inconceivable news. She wanted me to protect the environment!
"What?" I got up quickly and yelled very loudly.
"Don’t ask me again! I don’t want to repeat many times! And… you," she pointed at my sister and said. "You think of some ways to protect the environment!" At the same time, my sister and I were going to face a series of poor experiences.
During breakfast time, my mum stopped me using wooden chopsticks, “We should reduce using wooden chopsticks! We should use plastic chopsticks!”
After that, I drank a bottle of lemon tea and wanted to throw it. Suddenly, my mum shouted at me and said, “We should recycle plastic bottles, paper and aluminium cans! Are you stupid? Do you know how to protect the environment? We should reuse glass bottles and reduce waste! Understand?”
"Yes, it is too easy to do. Don’t worry! There is no problem!" I said impatiently.
Finally, my sister told me a message. My mum did not want to spend much money so she wanted us to protect the environment. That means it was a cheat!
The true story/ my true feelings:
This topic is very difficult to write and I don’t think my mother will want me to protect the environment. It’s because she has produced more waste than me. Also, I don’t like to use wooden chopsticks because I think they are not clean.
However, this topic is very useful. It’s because we have global warming in the earth. If we still don’t protect the environment, all animals will die. Then, we will die too because we don’t have enough food. (294 words)
